Polar

Founded as “Adolf Mohr Maschinenfabrik” in 1906, Polar started its production of cutting machines for the wood and metal industry. In 1949, they started their cooperation with Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG.

Polar adapted itself very early to the changes in the printing industry and became leader of the market with regards to the electronic communication. With the network-software “Compucut”, all Polar cutting machines and systems become integral part of the networked printshop. Until today, these systems have been automated more and more and can nearly be used without staff.

Polar offers complete systems as well as single components for the cutting process. These systems are divided into those with joggers and those without.
